IdentityNithin Anil is the Writer-Director of his debut feature-film A Thing of Magic, which had its World Premiere at the 21st Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in 2019 and was nominated for two private national level awards, including the 2019 Gollapudi Srinivas National Award for Best Debut Director. He was the project designer and convener of a 2018 crowdfunded short documentary that explored the lives of the Dom Community of Varanasi and their trade and tradition of scavenging and selling gold from the dead who were brought to be cremated.
Currently, he is working closely with top production companies in Mumbai for OTT based shows/films. Two of his scripts have been optioned and is in the process of development at various stages.
