SAP FICO is not related to financial modelling. You may do FMVA certification. If you are interested in long-term investment, then valuation knowledge is helpful. Valuation helps you understand the "value" of a company rather than what stock price is showing. If you find "value" is greater than the price of the stock, then you invest, or else you do not.
