Calcutta Chess Academy has been conducting chess coaching classes for children (4 to 15 years) since 1992. There are separate classes for Beginners, Intermediate players & Advanced players. We also provide special training for logical thinking, calculation, concentration, visualization etc. which develops the mental faculties of the students. During the last 24 years, we have produced a good number of Champions in State, National & International levels. So long, our classes were being conducted at Shyambazar, North Kolkata. Who should attend

Any children from 5 to 15 years of age with normal intelligence may be eligible to attend this training program. In case of children below 6 years, we shall take some tests before admission. Again, children of the age-range 13 to 15 years can be admitted only if they have already attained the Intermediate level.

Pre-requisites

Only school students from 5 to 15 years are eligible for admission in the Chess Coaching Class.

What you need to bring

At the time of admission, 2 passport size photographs & photocopy of Birth Certificate should be submitted along with Admission Fee of Rs.1600 & Coaching Fee of Rs.400 for the relevant month. Apart from that, a student should bring a notebook and a pen/pencil regularly.
