I have experience in teaching music for 33 years, of which 14 years as per CBSE curriculum.

I have done my Sangeet Praveen (Masters in Music) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and have been associated with AIR /Prasar Bharati (Kolkata Jamshedpur & Ranchi) from 1989 as B-high grade artist in Thumri and Dadra.

I am organised, outcome-driven and motivated professional music teacher. During my 14 years in a CBSE school at Jamshedpur, I have nurtured young talents in Indian and western music. Our school team has won many laurels in inter-school competitions. I have directed musicals in English, Hindi and Bengali for the school and had the honour to stage one of them to the His Excellency, the Governor of Bihar, at Patna.

For many music competitions and preliminary auditions of few national TV reality shows I was in panel of jury.

My belief is, music has the power to change and enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, as well as serve as a medium of personal expression.

Recently I have moved to Kolkata as my husband has been re-located here. I want to remain in company of young bright talents and use my experience to nurture them to become good human beings.
