I was a teacher in a school for four years. Taught english grammar and literature, history, geography, civics, social studies, science, biology, bengali, evs and hindi. I graduated with hons. In english from calcutta university in 1993. I won a fellowship in research based journalism from national foundation for india, new delhi in 1995- 1996. Since then I am working as managing editor in the print media. I have also given home tuition to students from time to time. I started my career as a teacher . Teaching students right from kg 1 to class 8 gave me the opportunity to explore the versatility of students of various age groups coming from cross-section of socitety.
