I am a teacher and director of my own Mime group named Soma Mime Theatre.
I started doing Mime and Acting from a tender of five and it has been 35 years long that I am still attached to it.
I have a degree in MA from Calcutta University.
I was bestowed with Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar in the year of 2016 for the field of Mime from Sangeet Natak Akademi (Govt.of India)
Currently I am working on a government project, a fellowship in which my topic is to cover about the women mime artists all over India.
