I am from a fashion design background with 18 years of work experience but have moved to photography 10 years back. Photography is a part of the fashion design curriculum as a capsule module which students can pursue further if interested. It helprd when I started. I have been successfully working as a photographer for the past 6 years.
I started by assisting Designers with their shoots. Designers Like Manish Arora. (1999) and had opportunities to learn from Tarun Khiwal and Rohit Khandelwal indirectly. Later on in 2015, I helped out with the e-commerce shoots of Ritu Kumar representing Urban Studio (Gurugram).
I have been successfully shooting Portraiture, Fashion, Products, Lifestyle, Boudoir, Editorials and Wedding (including pre-wedding, Maternity and Baby photography)
My early work can be seen on Facebook (Sudipta Banerjee Photography and Nuptia Studios) and my recent works can be seen on Instagram (refined_photon) and on 500px.
Now, I teach photography in kolkata on a one to one mentorship programme modules.
