Supratim Talukder

I have fifteen years of dancing experience. I have achieved a post-graduation degree in the mesmerising art form of Bharatanatyam. My ultimate goal is to spread the essence of dance as it contributes to the well-being of both body and mind. Throughout my journey, I have been involved in numerous projects sponsored by the Singaporean cultural government, workshops, and private initiatives. My dance performances have taken place all over India and internationally.
Dance has always been my medium to reach out and connect with diverse audiences worldwide. As an advocate of dance therapy, I have dedicated my efforts to bringing the positive impacts of this art form to students. Witnessing the transformative effects of dance on people's lives has been truly rewarding for me. My work has garnered recognition from various overseas locations like Malaysia, Singapore, America, Canada, India, and Mumbai.
One of the most significant milestones in my journey was the honour of performing for the esteemed Governor of Jharkhand. This recognition further motivated me to continue promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of dance.
As a dance instructor, I impart my knowledge in various dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Ravidra Nritya, and Yoga. I offer online and offline classes, with sessions lasting for one or a half hours. Before commencing the dance sessions, I prioritise the importance of warm-up exercises and body conditioning. Moreover, I incorporate practical yoga sessions to enhance the overall well-being of my students.
My teaching methodology involves live interactive sessions, ensuring an engaging and immersive learning experience for my students. I provide comprehensive theory notes alongside practical lessons to aid their understanding and appreciation of the art form.
