Chinese Calligraphy.  Presents a majestic and flowing aesthetic using only KANJI characters.

Characters are bold stokes that are strict because of original script.Chinese character were introduced to Japan during 6th Century.

Japanese calligraphy. It's root is in Chinese calligraphy.Japan Calligraphy study the old Chinese texts to learn calligraphy.It emphasis more on meaning behind character and emotions conveyed by brush work.Japanese developed Hiragana and katakana two systems.These two system developed from Kanji.

Combination of Kanji and Kana are two main difference between Chinese and Japanese 

But, there is a high possibility that students with neat and clean handwriting may get more than average marks and students with untidy handwriting may get low marks for a correct and well written answer.
