Psychology is often misunderstood as a subject that will help you know what others are thinking, to read their minds and hypnotise people. That is a big myth. 

What is true of the discipline is its ability to explain why people think, feel and behave the way they do. Hence goes the definition, Psychology is the science of mental processes, experiences and behaviours.

I like to remember this as a simple A, B and C.

A for affection or emotion (in psychological terms)

B for behaviour and

C for cognition 

Understanding the terms and theories of psychology is quite tricky. Some terms seem to be associated with our common sense and we seem to believe, its easy.. But actually one later realizes there are more technical issues that they just can't seem to figure out and then psychology as a subject seems so hard.. For example,  Attitude, when we say attitude, we generally tend to address another's behavior towards someone... Generally denoting rudeness.. But in terms of psychology, Attitude refers to their preconceived notions regarding an object, person, event etc. You see its not the same. The split-half reliability is internal consistency of a test, such as psychometric tests and questionnaires. It measures the extent to which all parts of the test contribute equally to what is being measured. This is done by comparing the results of one half of a test with the results from the other half.

It is the ability of a group to function together and make cohesive decisions that are useful for all members of the group. Group dynamics depends on a number of factors, some of them maybe the relationship between the members of the group, the relationship between the Members of the group and the leader, the leadership style of the leader, the understanding of the norms of the group, cohesiveness, task importance, etc. So the way in which a group is formed plays a very important role in the dynamics of the group.
