There are several types of friction: 1. **Static Friction**: This type of friction occurs when two surfaces are at rest relative to each other. 2. **Kinetic Friction**: Kinetic friction arises between two objects that are sliding against each other. 3. **Rolling Friction**: This occurs when a round object rolls over a surface, like a ball rolling on the ground. 4. **Fluid Friction**: Fluid friction, also known as viscous drag, occurs between layers of fluid that are moving relative to each other, like air resistance or water resistance. These types of friction play essential roles in everyday life and in various fields of science and engineering. read less

While coaching materials can be incredibly helpful in preparing for the IIT JEE, relying solely on them may not be sufficient for everyone. Success in the exam often requires a combination of factors, including: 1. **Understanding of Concepts:** Coaching materials typically cover the required concepts comprehensively. However, understanding these concepts thoroughly is crucial, and sometimes additional resources may be needed to grasp them fully. 2. **Practice:** Solving a wide variety of problems is essential to develop problem-solving skills and familiarity with different question types. While coaching materials provide practice questions, additional resources like previous years' papers and supplementary books can offer more diverse problem sets. 3. **Mock Tests:** Regularly taking mock tests under exam-like conditions is crucial for improving time management, identifying weak areas, and gauging one's preparedness. Some coaching institutes provide mock tests, but candidates may also benefit from seeking out additional mock tests from other sources. 4. **Self-Study:** Supplementing coaching materials with self-study using textbooks, online resources, and reference books can deepen understanding and provide alternative explanations for difficult topics. 5. **Revision:** Regular revision of concepts and problem-solving techniques is essential to reinforce learning and ensure retention. Ultimately, while coaching materials are a valuable resource, candidates often benefit from using a variety of study materials and strategies to prepare effectively for the IIT JEE. Additionally, seeking guidance from teachers, mentors, or peers can provide valuable insights and support throughout the preparation process. read less

But SC on both exams involves the same basic skill — understanding the way that vocabulary fits into a sentence's context. And speaking of vocabulary, the IELTS does not have any questions that directly ask about the meaning of vocabulary words, while the GRE does.
