Linux comes with different distributions.
You have to first choose the distribution. Then the version.
Some of the most popular linux distributions are Arch Linux, Fedora, Debian, openSUSE, CentOS, Gentoo Linux, Linix Mint and Ubuntu.
My personal choice is Ubuntu and the version is 18.04 (latest version). I am using ubuntu since last 10 years.
