IdentityA student, learner and budding researcher, Psychology is my first and only love. I took the subject from an early age (in school) and did fairly well in it if I could say so myself!
I was awarded a certificate of merit for outstanding academic performance in Psychology (100%) in class 12.
Post school, I went further with the subject and completed my under-graduation from Gargi College, Delhi University where I obtained an overall percentage of 83.88%.
I also discovered my interest for research in this stage. I worked on three papers during my BA course. They have been listed as follows:
1. 'Exploration of Self Compassion among Buddhist Monks' presented at the 3rd National and 1st International Conference on "Positive Psychology- the Ripple Effect" organised by Indian Association of Positive Psychology (2015)
2. 'Health Seeking Behaviors: Trends and Contributing Factors-A Review' presented at the International Conference on "Psychosocial Perspectives on Health & Wellbeing" organised by the Department of Psychology, Jamia Millia Islamia (2016)
3. 'Understanding Environmental Concerns and Pro-Environmental Behaviours Amongst College Students'presented at the International Seminar on "Indian Mind and Societal Concerns: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue" organized by Department of Psychology, Ramanujan College (2016)
Currently pursuing my Master's degree and working on yet another paper. The next step is PhD with the eventual dream of becoming a researcher. Fingers crossed!
