Better to purchase high end configuration because after 2-3 years that configuration becomes old. I prefer pentium i 7 processor, 4 - 6 GB RAM, at least 1 TB Hard disk, 2 GB of graphic card ( this is for games application), if HD games are playing then you can choose 1GB) monitor you consider as big as required. Hope it's 15.6 inch with separate numeric keypad ( it helps a lot). read less
