Which protein(s) make up a skeletal muscle thick filament?

Question options:

1)

Troponin

2)

Actin

3)

Tropomyosin

4)

Myosin II

Skeletal muscle of body is one of the major muscle. Somatic nervous system controls it voluntarily. Now we are addressing a question which is to say involving all the components of a skeletal muscle. The thin filament of this muscle is known as 'Actin'. All other components proteins which helps working with the actin filament. To address the skeletal muscle thick filament, we need to know that it attaches to bones by bundle of collagen fibers (tendons).

Skeletal muscle fiber is a single cylindrical muscle cell. All these fibers are wrapped together forming a thick muscle by a connective tissue covering. Epimysium is a connective tissue sheath helps in protection.

Now we have all the aforementioned proteins in the question, all of them plays a role joining with the thin filament of Actin to form a thick muscle. As a mechanism Actin binds to Myosin II (which is a conventional mysosin), helps in contraction of the muscle in a highly regulated process. The thin filament of muscle is made up of Actin, Tropomyosin and Troponin. Triggering the nerve impulses in a muscle cell it starts to work as a unit.

Here mentioned in the query above, we have to consider all the proteins forming a thick skeletal muscle.
