Hey Saravana, You don't get any salary while studying in a medical college in India. You will only get paid during your internship. Apart form that if you do research under ICMR -STS (INDIAN COUNCIL OF MEDICAL REASERCH - SHORT TERM STUDENTSHIP) Once your final project is selected they give a grant of Rs.10000. You can also get travel grants from the government if you travel to international conferences. But it is difficult to get it approved unless you have an exceptional research paper. You can earn by other ways like working for Research Journals or Clubs. You can edit articles, do data entry and calculations. The best thing would be to approach professors in community medicine or micro or anat, pharmacology and physiology. You can ask permission to work on their research. They will help you out and you will get experience. You can also ask them to put your name as Second author or third author while publishing that article. Get a publication on your name is better than getting a salary sometimes.
