Who are we? In Reiki we are thought there are 7 major bodies, and we are more than physical beings. But then why do I see myself as physical body? My teacher told me the purpose of Reiki was to find the true form of one, that is the soul. Is it really possible? we all know the truth that we are pure souls in the bodily costume but then why we don't believe it? What should we do to believe in it????

We don't believe ourselves to be souls because we simply don't understand metaphysics in our daily life's struggles. our brains are limited to scientific reasoning. And science cannot provide you these answers. To believe u need to read, research and analyze various sciences or faculties that deal with... ...more

Poll: In the present scenario, should we learn Queen's English or Simple Spoken English? Our education system has been imparting to inculcate Queen's English, at the expense of Spoken English, in students who study English as a second language. In the melee the students are not able to deliver even one sentence when they pass out from colleges and attend job interviews. I have sailed with Europeans, South Americans, Africans and Asians. They are all good in Spoken English without Queen's English knowledge. English medium schools have multiplied exponentially, a mushroom growth, misleading parents that their children would become "English Parrots". But ground reality is just opposite. Of late even reputed News Papers, who publish articles written by famous columnists, have changed their presentation with simple English. As readers, by and large, don't have time to read papers. Only during Coffee time, they just scroll. No one is there to listen to your lecture. Communication is just sharp and crisp. It may end with SMS style in the long run.

Your opinion is quite right. Learning fluent spoken English is more essential than learning literary English. Despite criticisms on the way english is being taught and spoken in India, I have heard of many instances wherein Indian english is accepted as the best and neutral way of spoken english.... ...more
