Dhrubajyoti Dey

I am a drummer and a multi Percussionist,studied from km college of music and technology,chennai(Ar Rahman Music College)-a scholarship recipient from the college also.I have been playing drums for around 12 years now.Before that I used to be a tabla player.Born in a musician's family,my mother is a professional music teacher,which helped me to understand music better and be around music since childhood.Trained under the mridangam maestro Anantha R Krishnan ,ghatam legend Vikku Vinayakaram,jazz drummer Matteo Fraboni(Italy).Have been associated with various bands and toured.Been part of various projects like Pele by AR RAHMAN,amazon prime harmony and other projects.I was lucky enough to learn a lot from my teachers and gurus and from all other people and I decided to share them with my students.Because art is all about passing on to the next .I teach my students both theory and practical with utmost care.
