I am here to share my personal experience of the past four years. After completing my Diploma in Drama and pursuing my BE, I found myself in Navi Mumbai. Unfortunately, there were no available drama classes in the vicinity, which presented a challenge for me. Determined to continue my passion for drama, I embarked on teaching drama to those who shared a similar interest. Despite the distance, I travelled extensively to reach my students. I have had the opportunity to train around 50-60 students who have shown immense dedication and talent. Witnessing their growth and progress has been incredibly fulfilling. To further enhance their learning experience, I conducted workshops on various drama aspects. These workshops allowed students to explore different techniques, express themselves creatively, and gain confidence in their abilities.
My love for theatre and the eagerness of aspiring actors motivated me to overcome commuting hurdles. I wanted to provide a platform for individuals passionate about this art form and guide them towards honing their skills. Driven by my deep passion for drama and a desire to devote myself entirely to training, I started teaching drama full-time. To achieve this, I began teaching drama classes on our platform, utilising the power of technology to connect with students from different locations. It has been an enriching experience to interact with aspiring actors from diverse backgrounds and provide them with the necessary guidance and knowledge.
In addition to teaching, I have worked on several serials for prominent television channels such as Sony, Colors, and Star Plus. By sharing these experiences with my students, I aim to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the practical aspects of drama. My drama classes typically last two hours, providing ample time for practical sessions where students can actively engage in various exercises, scenes, and improvisations. I believe in creating a supportive and collaborative environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their potential.
