Economics is a social science promoting economic behaviour of utility maximisation as well as resource allocation for both individuals and group of people and organisations including government organisations.Economics supports in decision making in such a way that each spending provides Equi marginal utility based on equi -marginal principle. Resource allocation, price fixation, opportunity cost analysis time value of money are of use to managers. Demand estimation,cost control, pricing, production returns maximisation etc need economics . At macro level GDP , NNP, calculations study of monetary and fiscal policies , industry sector analysis ,where economic is of more use.
