Yes. Acrylic paints are water based. That is why they dry way faster compared to oil colors. Time required to dry Acrylic paints totally depend on how many layers are applied.

Yes Acrylic paint can be used in Tanjore paintings. Originally colours made out of vegetables were used but now poster and acrylic paint works well. Other elements used in Tanjore paintings are gold leaf, semi precious stones etc

No if we use acrylic colors directly on it. Yes, if we prep the plastic surface before using acrylic colors. If you are planning to color plastic surface which will be outdoors than suggest you to select spray primers and if it's an indoor plastic surface using stain blocking primer with high adhesion... read more

If you are planning to color plastic surface which will be outdoors than suggest you to select spray primers and if it's an indoor plastic surface using stain blocking primer with high adhesion will be better. Check with local hardware stores for these supplies.
