I'm akhila, and I'm an Artist.
The first potrait I ever sketched was of my fav god Hanuman, and from there, there was no going back. Born and brought up in Palakol, Andhrapradesh, I did my graduation in electronics and communication engineering. I used to paint a little from standard 7th, where I used to draw pictures from my science textbook.
I choose science as my major in school and opter for electronics and communication engineering. I realized that I still have a spark for art inside me somewhere in the middle of my graduation. I tried to apply for a few job interviews in electronics and communication engineering but did not qualify for any. I felt this is my wake-up call and decided to pursue it more than just a hobby, believing this is what the universe might have planned for me.
In 2018, I was started a few paintings for myself. After a year, I thought, why not opt for teaching in art. I had no fine arts degree or a professional course in the same, but still, the school appreciated my talent there.
My most significant break while pursuing art as a career was when I received more messages from many people that your paintings and drawings are too good and I received few orders. It helped me convince my family to let me pursue arts as a full-time career as well, as there were no such specific art classes or instructions back in my time.
After finishing my classes, I focus on my cilentele work, and with that, itself content for my feed is created. It gets difficult to balance my classes and work together, but Art is when my heart belongs. I feel, as the competition increases, self-learning also needs to be focused on. Earlier all of my canvases were huge and simple. But now I maintain a more detailed and original pattern.
I wish to start my portal one day where there can be numerous workshops for all the fields related to art. It will be a space where all the learners can interact, grasp and create their unique form of art. After all, I genuinely believe that chasing something rare will always be difficult, but not giving up is the only way to grow strong every day.
