Bodyworks Studio (Centre for Dance and Yoga)

We are happy to announce that the Bodyworks Studio is finally up and running.
Classes in Contemporary and Modern Dance with a base of Ballet, as well as structured exercise sessions are offered here. They are designed to help the student develop Grace, Strength, Flexibility and Coordination of the body.
Furthermore, to support and foster a sense of integral well-being and equilibrium, Yoga classes are conducted in the Vinyasa, Hatha and Ashtanga styles.

These will be taught by a teacher with a Yoga Alliance RYS 300 certification who has had the privilege of practising under various yoga teachers in the BKS Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga styles.

Hatha Yoga will be taught under the BKS Iyengar style. This class aims to provide the student with a deeper understanding about each asana and its alignment.

Vinyasa Yoga is a series of postures woven together to create a harmonious flow integrating breath and movement. Every week, a sequence will be designed to focus on a specific part of the body. This will include hip opening, upper back, balances, back bending, arms and legs as well as core.

Ashtanga Yoga will feature a systematic progression of a set series of asanas.
