It depends on your interest, if you are looking for a manual tester perspective, then the following skills are required:
- Able to understand the requirement and create test cases out of that requirement
- Excellent problem-solving ability and identify the root cause of the defect wr.r.t functional perspective
- Think out of the box and if you thing requirement is not as per  expectation then raise your concern
- Familiarity with Software testing life cycle, Agile testing, Scrum etc
If you are looking for automation tester perspective, then the following skills are required:
- Good hands on any of the programming language
- Familiarity with Selenium web driver
- Nowadays cucumber will be adapted by various Org as a part of BDD; it's good to have cucumber knowledge
