Need to do java core and advanced certificate. Which books or pdf is need to refer?

I will suggest you simply go with javatpoint site. It is very good in clearing doubts and making your base strong.

It depends upon your caliber and programming skills, althogh big MNCs don't require your technical skills, they more focus on your communication and confidence level. whatever is written in your resume they will ask very basic question.
