o Primary role is to determine best solutions for the existing or new customers environment, making it cost effective and provide best solution recommendation based on best practices and Realtime experiences.
o Design VM deployments by leveraging availability sets, fault domains, and update domains in Azure.
o Recommend use of Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
o Following the new client onboarding process, onboarding new VMs, protect with antivirus solutions (Trend Micro/Deep Security). It also includes applying server hardening as per requirement of the project (Professional Service Task).
o Maintaining the VMs for different customers in a secure environment.
o Maintaining VM backups, applying automation runbooks, scheduling scripts for backup and restoration of the data whenever needed.
o Managing Active Directory, Office 365 user accounts & Managing Licensing services.
o Determine when to use Azure Blob Storage, Azure Files, disks, Azure Data Box, Azure Storage Service Encryption, and Azure StorSimple.
o Design solutions that use Azure networking services such as design for load balancing using Azure Load Balancer and Azure Traffic Manager; define DNS, DHCP, and IP strategies; determine when to use Azure Application Gateway.
o Determine when to use Azure VPN, Azure ExpressRoute and Virtual Network Peering architecture and design; determine when to use User Defined Routes (UDRs).
o Determine when to use network virtual appliances; design a perimeter network (DMZ); determine when to use Network Security Group (NSG) and create secured environment.
o Design AD Connect synchronization; design federated identities using Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS); design solutions for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA); design an architecture using Active Directory on-premises and Azure Active Directory (AAD); determine when to use Azure AD Domain Services.
o Determine the appropriate Microsoft products and services for monitoring Azure platform solutions; define a monitoring solution using Azure Health, Azure Advisor, Activity Log and enabling alerts.
o Generating reports for backups, managing antivirus management console (trend micro).
o Maintaining scheduled backup on all the VMs in the cloud environment.
o Windows Patch Management activity; regular monthly maintenance activity; creating reports for the same to share it with the customer and to update inventory.
o Preparing audit reports for all the tickets so far resolved on monthly basis and share consolidated report to the management.
o AWS (Amazon Web Services) few servers of our client were hosted on AWS cloud, so to manage the same, I have learned AWS.
o Preparing knowledge-based articles for the new processes and demonstrating the process to the team to manage related issues more efficiently.
o Doing POC on new projects and defining processes for the same to provide managed services.
o Exploring things and make a fruitful solution to define the appropriate process.
o Managed Services plan for DevOps, using TFS for CI-CD of builds which get pushed by Development team.
