Hi, my name is Osaf Ali Sayed, I am from Rajasthan, India. Before I tell you about my skills and achievement let me tell you a little about myself. I lived most of my life in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia where I completed my Highschool. I started coding with a friend when I was in 9th grade. I moved to India to pursue BTech in CSE from IIIT Pune and started working on my coding skills more seriously. I have worked on my skills as a Full-stack web developer, Data Structures and algorithms, and competitive programming.

I love to play chess and watch anime in the meantime.

Can I do method overloading in Python classes?

No python does not support method overloading. If you try to define a new function the older function will be replaced. Method overloading can be done under special cases such as inheritance.

Why do Python class methods need the self-parameter?

Self is a pointer to the instance itself. while defining a class we need this parameter to our methods because it gives us access to other functions of class and also to the variables of current instances.
