Overview

I have been learning music since the the age of five. I have been under the tutelage of several stalwarts of light music in kolkata followed by Hindustani classical music of Kiranagharana. I am a West Bengal government authorised artist in two subjects.
My husband is a reputed classical singer. He takes special classes as per requirement specially for those who are keen to learn classical music deeply.
I give trainings following a curriculum as per the student's choice. We provide voice training classes too. Classes are held with the accompaniment of harmonium, tanpura and tabla as per requirement.
I teach bajans, Hindi songs, and the basics of classical music.

i want to learn western classical vocal classes. how long should i take classes to be a pro and proffesional vocalist?

It depends on how much hard working and analytical you are. Learning means not only practising a lesson but major part of it is listening and implementing it without imitating.

Music can be instrumental or vocal. Firstly If you are interested in vocal music you have to decide which genre you would like to opt for. It can be classical that too has several categories or semi classical that comprises thumri, dadra ,etc or it can light music which comprises modern songs, ... ...more
