SAP started way back in 1969 and ever since it has been evolving and adopting current and next generation trends in IT-ERP arena
the latest most module is ECC 6.0 EHP 8 - Enhanacement pack
the previous notable version was ECC 5.0 which was short lived
Before that we had 4.7 EE- enterprise Edition which was a milestone version enabling Web As server etc
Now SAP has it's own DB HANA 2.0 is the latest and S/4 is the application Delta , please refer open.sap.com for learning the latest trending courses on HANA
