Active and Passive Voice: Why "No Passive Voice" for Future Continuous Actions, "I will be writing a book" - Active Voice. Can it be written in Passive Voice Form like "A book will be being written by me?"

Without getting into a debate on why your passive form of the sentence might be incorrect, my answer is that the correct sentence is "A book will be written by me".

The places of subject and object in sentence are inter-changed in passive voice. 3rd form of verb (past participle) will be used only (as main verb) in passive voice. Active sentences in the future continuous and future perfect continuous tenses cannot be changed to the passive

However, the language is controlled more by the usage, connotations and preferences than by the rigid grammar rules. Using perfect continuous tenses in passive may seem odd, like in this example: ‘The barber has been cutting his client’s hair.’ when changed, “His client’s hair has BEEN BEING cut by the barber.” The ‘be’ form is used twice in the same verb, but nothing grammatically wrong. read less
