A tag question is a small question attached atcthe end of a sentence

It was cold yesterday,wasn't it?
The three things you notice are
* if the sentence is in the positive the tag turns negative.
* Note that the tense will always remain the same.
* The pronoun given will be used
Some examplesThis student always works hard doesn't he?
You can ask from where did does appear,because the verb works is in the present tense,so for singular use 'does' and for plural use 'do'
