Networking Operations
? Handling the network infrastructure LAN/WAN, migration & configuration of network client workstations.
? Supporting Cisco 7600 series, Cisco 3845 & 2811 Router, Firewall, FWSM, Catalyst 6509, 4510R, 4506, 3560, 2970, 2960, 2950, 2940 Switches, Linksys switches etc. & also worked with access points & D-Link switches, etc.
? Addressing performance bottlenecks & ensuring maximum network uptime.
? Managing networking, site integration & commissioning for new links..
? Assisting in the design & implementation of the network and troubleshooting.
? Suggesting improvements in the operations and processes to make the system foolproof.
? Overseeing VPN & wireless access points.
? Troubleshooting the leased lines & ISDN by coordinating with BSNL coaxial & transmission officers.
? Analysing, logging, tracking and complex software and hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, server, and application to meet business needs.
? Presently working at Data Centre of a client in Kolkata on behalf of HCL Comnet Ltd. to support Router, Switch & to monitor & sometimes support the security equipments(FWSM, Load-Balancers etc.) & co-ordinate with the security team for any kind of troubleshooting issues of these security equipments & to monitor the internet link, to monitor the MPLS-VPN link & if any problem occurs then, log tickets to ISP. Hand on deliverables to router, high end catalyst switches, Load-Balancers, app-director (RADWARE), Cisco ACE etc.

Technical Support
? Conducting training programmes to enhance operational efficiencies of workforce, focusing on technical & customer care aspect.
? Coordinating with engineers to resolve escalated calls and achieve higher customer satisfaction matrices; monitoring performance of field engineers & providing necessary feedback.
? Monitoring the post service activities like follow up with the customers, service reminders and handling customer grievances for superior customer service.
