Overview

I started learning guitar, basically to kill time, from the year 2010. I have taught guitar for about 15 months. I teach mainly western. Learning classical now. I am a self taught guitarist except for the beginning lessons for which i took classes. Hence i have my own way of teaching and can teach according to students requirements. I have taught different age groups (7-40 yrs). Music is something I'm obsessed about so, I tend to go into every detail of it and i try to put forth the same in simplest manner.

classical guitar or acoustic guitar what should a 10y O kid should start with.

Its better to start with acoustic guitar as its easier to learn the basics such as stretching or fingering exercises. Once he learns the basics he can later decide what guitar to play with based on his music interest.
