What Does Your TOEFL Score Reflect?

Often students are not sure, how to interpret their TOEFL score. The TOEFL score helps to determine an examinee’s command over English. As the Educational Test Service (ETS) does not give a pass or fail verdict, it becomes difficult for students to analyse their TOEFL score or grasp over English. To help students derive right conclusions and take right career decisions based on their TOEFL score, here are the probable marks you can score in each of the section. We also guide, how you can consider each of the score to judge your English linguistic capabilities. What Does Your TOEFL Score Reflect? For your convenience, we divide the scoring on the basis of TOEFL test sections, so that you find it easy to understand and take likewise decisions. If this is your score, it’s time for you to reserve ample time in hand and prepare for the test again. No institute, school or college considers this score and hence its recommended for you to take the TOEFL test again. Score 15-21 : Confident on English If your score is between 15-21 in Reading or Writing section of TOEFL exam, the outcome is good. You have basic command over English in taken a note of by examiners and thus, you scored this. This score is accepted by man academic institutes abroad and thus your key to a career outside India is soon to be accomplished.
