Eg: H2O

2 hydrogen = 2.01588

1 oxygen = 15.9994

Total molecular: weight = 2H+o

= 2.01588 + 15.9994

= 18.0153grms/mole

GAM (gram atomic weight):the atomic mass of an element expressed  in grams is called gram atomic mass

Eg:16grms of oxygen.
