I don't want to learn deep hindustaani classical music. I want as much so that i can sing bollywood songs properly. Means i don't want to go with gazal and all. So is that possible in 3-4 year of regular class with regular riyaz..???

Answer Yes you can do but sometimes if don't want learn classical music then may be mic effect can give your voice beautiful but without swaras it will fall and it will give you very occurred feeling so I suggest you first know basic grammar which is what is scale ,how we use accending and decending of Swaras and perday Riyaz if I say perday then it should be without any condition because and try to listen instrumental as much as possible....

ce training,after that u decide whether you wants to learn Hindustani classical music or not........but I would say our Indian music whether it's light or classical always based on Raga....u should know about Raga...then u will get a clear idea and also it will be always helpful for signing too.

Singing Bollywood songs isn't that tough... You can sing even without learning classical music. But being a Scholar in music, I believe you should learn and riyaz.
Atleast basics you should know.. if you take it as a hobby, then simply sticking to Bollywood is fine, but if you are looking forward to a career, then you need to have develop a keen to learning.
