Certainly Abdul, approx. one year is actually required to be fluent in English.  If one starts a class on one to one basis, find a good tutor who can provide you with detailed grammar concepts and give you various examples overall everything, official / business vocabulary, as well as personnal communication both is very important, cause one needs to understand when to speak what.

You also need to understand the various meaning one verb word can carry when to connect to another with tenses, you also need to read out lots of Adjective words cause words play the most integral part in constructing your sentence (short & sweet).

I'm a tutor for spoken english and you can always join if you feel I'll be of your help, visit my profile for further details.  Thanku.  Wishing you all the very best.

Start by reading newspapers, learn atleast five new words each day, use a dictionary to find the meaning of new words. Watch English news channels, and try to use the newly learnt words in practice. Speak to others in English, that would be a start to help you improve your spoken English.

There are many idioms, phrases and quotes on shoes. "It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you out; it's the grain of sand in your shoe" "A woman carries her clothes. But the shoe carries the woman" Can You Share an interesting shoe-incident in your life or an idiom or a phrase? A shoe anecdote: I had to trek bare-footed to my school till my school final. Three kilometers from my house to a Railway station, then travel by train, and finally from there to school by walk along the railway track. Once my neighbour's son of my age bought a pair of new branded shoes. It didn't fit him, the shoe that fits one person pinches another. One fine morning his mother told me to try it out and it neither pinched or bit me. I was very happy to get into my neighbour's shoes. She told me that she would take her son's permission and offer it to me. The permission was granted and the message was passed on to my mother. I used to visit her house daily thinking that she would tell me to take it. To my bad luck she forgot the mega offer to me. My ego didn't permit me to ask her. Crying baby gets the milk. I didn’t cry, It went on for one year. The shoe gathered dust and finally disappeared, might be to a dust-bin. I bought variety of imported shoes once I started earning. But that Longing of my neighbour's shoes, which fitted me without any pinch, still PINCHES me. No state of the art shoes would replace that longing.
