And finally I take tests to check whether the topics are clear or not. If you prefer reading technique, you can go for Wren and Martin or Word Power by Norman. But I advise you to go for reading English newspaper, chronicles, and magazines. The more you read more, you learn and get enriched in the English vocabulary. You can practice speaking in English by standing in front of the mirror. You can also start writing your views in a daily diary. These will slowly and gradually improve every aspect of English. You can also watch English web series as it will also help you to grow.
