A way I did to learn a new language without taking classes is living with it everyday. I watched movies in that language, listened music, read books even try to speak and think with the few words I had, learn their culture, their people and do as them. I can say it worked effectively because today I can speak it very well and I didn't take a single class.

There are a lot of languages applications, the ones I recommend are Duolingo and Memrise. But there are just about learning new vocabularies. My advice is how about using these apps for learning new words and use them on language exchange apps such as Linguado or Hellotalk where you can practice the language and meet new people. I myself use these apps and it is very useful. Hope it can be useful to you too.
