For teaching online, if the presentation is self-explanatory, then we may not need a whiteboard. While in some instances, to explain a few kids, the whiteboard is a good option. You have a whiteboard or not. Still, you can teach online, make your presentation explanatory and straightforward.
For grades 4, 5, 6, they may require whiteboard where visualization of the problem is concerned. Still, you can make it work by telling them to write in their notebook or else, make a plain slide which can be used later to explain like a whiteboard.
