In order to learn concentration techniques, I'd recommend you to get in touch with an instructor/Guru who can teach you. However, just to answer your question, there is nothing called as best techniques. Always remember, techniques are many but the goal is the same. People are drawn towards specific techniques based on their comfort level, past karmic tendancies, social influence, etc.
Certain techniques like basic breath observation, object meditation, candle gazing, etc can help you develop concentration within 30 to 60 days.
