I have been teaching for the past 25 years ..Have been teaching all age groups of students from 7 to 65 years . Can teach basics and advanced level . Teach in the Thanjavur Style which is more akin to vocal music ..focussing on the gamakas and sahitya bhava . Have had tutelage under Smt kalpakam Swaminathanfrom the Deekshatar lineage and under Smt Jayanthi Kumaresh from the Lalgusi lineage ...both being Thanjavur bhani . Can check out my u tube postings posted in the name K Thiagarajan . Have passed higher grade exam in Veena conducted by the Tamil Nadu Govt . Fee taken Rs 1500/- ( per hour)for local students from India and 35 US$ ( per hour) for students outside of India
