Getting into IT requires experience, but certifications and skill allow you to enter the market.
I work in networking and can say it is lucrative. If interested, then complete CCNA and try to get into a small organisation and work to get overall understanding then move to broader tech like firewall and load balancers. They are still hot in the market and will remain so in future.
