There will be 2 semester each per year-- summer semester, winter semester. If you do only Btech then it will consist of total 8 semester for 4 years. But if you join Btech after polytechnic diploma then you will directly get admisssion to second year as lateral entry and total course period will be 3 years and 6 semesters in overall.
