Learn the Khyal Gayaki of the Gwalior Gharana in Chennai! Classes are conducted in the traditional style of Guru Shishya Parampara Classes focus on group and individual learning. Alaap is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti and is conducting examinations for those who wish to pursue their studies in Hindustani Classical Music. On completion of the course the student is provided with a B.A Degree in Music Each Student is also a part of the yearly examinations conducted by Prayag Sangit Samiti which focuses on Theory and Practical. The syllabus is clearly defined for each year for the student to learn and Perform. Apart from Regular Classes, we also conduct quarterly Music events focusing on popularizing Hindustani classical and semi classical music also infusing Light music , Ghazals where the student gets a chance to perform on stage to showcase their talent!
