A guru plays the most important role in their students lives to mould his / her voice , to bring out the student's capability, to give a positive support throughout. .I feel blessed and fortunate to have Legendry Pandit Shri Prakash Guruji as my guru who has not only been a great teacher, He is renowned great Hindustani Classical singer and Great Musician. Beyond the objective of teaching music, he is a good human being, down to earth very kind and affectionate to students. He is one of the best music teacher in chennai. An Outstanding talented person we could never see. He is master in playing many instruments. We have been given ample time to talk to him and learn more. Apart from singing classes he teaches me harmonium, gives tips on how to improve voice. He is best voice culture expert. Teacher isn't a person who teaches us , but is one who leads us to the path of light. A person who is stuck in the sea of music,with no place to go can approach a teacher like Prakash sir who can take us to the land of fame and glory,an Overall all-rounder like him should be in the life of all students who pursue music as their carrier. "An year back I was desperate to find a Hindustani teacher in Chennai.I have searched for many gurus online and also in person, but I was not satisfied. Fortunately,A friend of mine gave me prakash Balesh sir phone num and asked me to go learn from him.The moment I saw prakash sir I knew he is the guru I am looking for.He is the finest,knowledgeable and most committed teachers I have ever seen in my life.His energy in the class just infectious.The mood he brings to the class is beyond words.Above all,he is most selfless and loving teacher.The way he takes a class is just amazing .Never a single moment in a 3 hr class I Feel bored listening and singing.I consider his class as a Hindustani classical concert because the way he renders and improvises in class is similar to Ustad Rashid khan saab performing in a concert.More than a teacher he is a true performer.Performance is one aspect I always look for in a teacher because with out performing one cant be a complete artist.I am fortunate to have found a teacher like him.I am very much thankful and always be thankful for the profound knowledge he is imparting in me .With out a passionate guru like I will reach no where as a musician.
