How much time is required to learn Short tricks in quantitative aptitude

The majority find learning quants a bit hard as they just want to learn the shortcuts and the very purpose of an objective type model is to test how you approach a problem.Just try to get in your own approach to solve a problem for the first 2 weeks and then go on to understand the logic behind shortcuts... ...more
The majority find learning quants a bit hard as they just want to learn the shortcuts and the very purpose of an objective type model is to test how you approach a problem.Just try to get in your own approach to solve a problem for the first 2 weeks and then go on to understand the logic behind shortcuts this way you need lesser time to learn shortcuts instead of just grinding with hardwork. If you go by this it would only take a month and you would also be able to find shorter ways to solve problems even than the existing shortcuts used to do it.To do this you will need to be confident and willing to analyse with your own perception.The Rote learning going around will only further hamper your ability.

The answer would be 360 cm given the condition they can take different no of steps.The first child would take 10 steps to reach Line CD from AB ,the second 5 steps and the last child 4 steps.The concept of LCM can be applied to arrive at the answer logically.(since one of the child has multiple of 10... ...more
