Sivananda yoga is excellent for beginners since it is gentle and accessible. The pace of progression is slow, giving your body sufficient time to adapt. Sivananda yoga is less physical, less focused on alignment and detail than Iyengar Yoga. In addition, Sivananda Yoga is a holistic method, while Iyengar Yoga focuses mostly on the body. Another difference is that Iyengar Yoga makes heavy use of props.

No, Chaturanga Dandasana, commonly known as Four-Limbed Staff Pose, is not traditionally considered a part of original Hatha Yoga. It is a pose that is more commonly associated with modern styles of yoga, particularly Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga. Traditional Hatha Yoga focuses more on foundational poses.

Iyengar Yoga is a form of yoga as exercise with a focus on the structural alignment of the physical body through the practice of asanas. It differs from other styles of yoga in three ways: precision, sequence and use of props. Precision is sought in body alignment in every asana.

Hatha and Vinyasa yoga incorporate many of the same poses. The main difference is the pacing of the classes. Vinyasa moves at a faster pace and requires greater breathing control than Hatha yoga. Because it's done more slowly and poses are held for longer, Hatha yoga allows for more stretching.

Like the previous answer states, Hatha Yoga deals with the body. It involves Asanas, Pranayama, Mudras, Bandhas, Kriyas etc. Raja Yoga works in more subtle levels. It involves Pranayama, the movement of prana up and down the spine, the chakras, Kundalini, also the tenets of self-control etc.
