a punch of a boxer is more compact when you compare to a kickboxers punch, boxers through most of their punch using body so the speed, power is a lot more than throwing a punch just with your arm and shoulder

the reason why its not listed is because there are different types of catagories in kicboxing around 8 of them and not a single organizing commitee so there are different rules, fight times etc which does not make it feasible to be added in olympic

as i have played both the sports, its completely different game but if you ask someone who has only palyed any one they will say theirs is tougher. boxing needs more stamina than kickxoing kixkboxing is more prone to injuries
