IELTS exam is not a tough exam to crack at all. If you know basic English grammar and English vocabulary you’ll do fine. IELTS tests the English power in four modules like writing, speaking, reading and listening.
In writing module, you have to write two tasks, and you will score based on coherence, grammar and task response.
Coming to reading, you have to write 40 answers by finding them from paragraphs. The content which we usually see in good quality newspapers and magazines constitutes the IELTS Reading paragraphs. For reference, you can read newspapers.
In speaking, you have to show that you can make a basic conversation in English. It is not essential to have an accent to get a good band score.
Finally Listening, you would have to write 40 answers by listening to the recordings. The recordings are of daily conversations between two students or between a shopkeeper and customer
